This is a recording of our 2016 Veteran’s Day Family Room with Eva Belanger, MA, MFT, Combat Veteran and Executive Director and Founder of Warriors Live On, and Andrew Barone, on active duty serving the US Marine Corps. Download the Free Guide “How to Work With Vets.” For more information on the topic of working with combat veterans read the blog post by Eva Belanger: A Veteran’s Thought and Warriors Live On.
It was a pleasure and privilege to be joined in the OI Members’ Family Room by our friends and partners at the non-profit Warriors Live On (WLO) on Veteran’s Day. OI is the guiding therapeutic foundation for WLO’s successful support of veterans with PTSD and other stress-related issues.
The Organic Intelligence® Clinical Protocol has been found to be uniquely helpful for war veterans. It teaches how to work directly with the subtle, and often non-verbal signs of autonomic arousal — well BEFORE any discussion of traumatic events. OI uses an “implicit exposure” protocol, with exclusive positive reinforcement strategies which make treatment a positive learning experience for veterans.
Offered around the world, Organic Intelligence’s Human Empowerment And Resiliency Trainings develop advanced skills in working with stress, trauma and related distressing syndromes.
While Family Room events are for members only we felt compelled to make this recording available to everyone who works with veterans. It contains important guidelines and practical tips in successfully working with vets with PTSD. And you get a very good impression of the value of our Family Room events. All Family Room events are conducted by OI Founder Steve Hoskinson.

“Prolonged Exposure and CBT sessions spun me up and really activated me. Afterwards I’d need my medications. On the other hand when I go through an OI session, I feel fantastic. When I walk out, my body feels great, my mind feels great, and I know that something positive has happened. I feel better. That is a profound measure of success.”
