Photos
What makes a good profile photo?
Humans are visual creatures. We engage through images rather than words. Your profile photo is going to be the first point of engagement for a potential client when finding your profile in our listings. It will pay off to put some effort into a good photo of yourself.
Here are some suggestions for a good profile photo:
- Show your whole face
- Make yourself look friendly and accessible
- Look at the camera — look directly at the viewer
- Look professional; if you are a therapist, using a vacation photo might send the wrong message. Wear what you would wear to see your clients.
- Take your time
- Grab a friend or a tripod
- If you use a smartphone, clean your lens first
- Avoid harsh shadows and bright light
- Avoid dark environments
- Solid colors look great in headshots
- If going with a pattern keep it simple
- A lighter blue enhances skin tones
- Take a lot of photos, pick the one you like
- Color photos will work better than black and white
What size should my profile photo be?
- The minimum size of your photo should be 230x320 pixels. Don’t worry, the photos you will take with a smartphone are going to be much bigger than that.
- After uploading you can change the size of a profile photo by using the slider, and you can move the image around to find the right crop.
- Once an image is saved it cannot be edited. If you want to edit an image after saving, you’ll need to upload a new image.

- Select PROFILE from the menu on top.
- Select Name & Location from the menu in the sidebar or mobile menu.

- Select Name & Location from the menu in the sidebar or mobile menu.
- Under “Your Name” you’ll find a “Phone preference” where you can check a box to ensure your phone number is no longer publicly displayed.
Emails
Is my email address secure?
We will never publish your email address. Potential clients will contact you by clicking on the “email me” button in your profile. The sender will use an email contact form and does not know your email address.
We do not read or retain your client emails.
How do I read emails from potential clients?
All client emails will be sent to the email address you selected for this purpose.
Make sure that clients emails don’t land in your junk folder. Please check to see if this is the case.
If it is, please make sure to remove “organicintelligence.org" from your spam filter so that the problem does not recur. Also, please add the following email address to your address book, or whitelist it:
Info@organicintelligence.org
I’m not receiving emails from potential clients
Make sure your Client Email settings are correct:
- Select ACCOUNT from the menu on top.
- In the sidebar on the left select “Client email.”
- On top of the Client Email page, make sure the correct email address is displayed. If not, Change your email address on that page.
- Additionally, make sure the box underneath “Email preference” is left unchecked.
- Your mailbox is full
- Your email server is down
- You have an old email address connected to your Client Email, for instance after switching jobs.
Junk mail, spam: Another possibility is that your client emails have landed in your junk folder. The anti-spam filters sometimes get it wrong. Check your junk folder regularly to make sure your client emails haven’t landed there.
Email providers label the junk folder differently. They can be called “Junk,” “Spam,” or “Bulk.”
Once client emails from the End of Trauma™ Directory have landed in your junk folder, make sure to whitelist the addresses and domain. Follow the instructions from your email provider.
Unique to Gmail: Gmail will sort your email into tabs. By default, your inbox is split into Primary, Social and Promotions tabs. If you don’t appear to receive client emails and they have not landed in your junk folder, check the Promotions tab.
If you find your client emails in the Promotions tab, drag-and-drop them into your Primary tab and Google will remember your choice.
Unique to Apple Mail: Apple Mail will group emails from the same email address with the same subject line together. You may see one recent client email, but if you open up that email you may find a whole group of emails.
How do I stop receiving emails from potential clients?
- Select ACCOUNT from the menu on top.
- In the sidebar on the left select “Client email.”
- On the Client Email page, check the box underneath “Email preference.”
How do I change my client email address?
- Select ACCOUNT from the menu on top.
- Under CLIENT EMAIL, select “Change email.” This changes the email address used by potential clients to contact you.
