If you’ve tried everything, and still feel like you’re struggling…
that’s not failure.
Sometimes what helps first isn’t another method.
It’s being met in a real conversation,
without needing to explain or turn it into anything.
Hi, I’m Lisa, once a NASA spacecraft engineer.
Now I meet with people
who want to be met and heard in a real conversation —
and those whose systems have run out of space,
space to heal, space to live, space to become.
By necessity, many people have become very practiced
at fitting themselves in —
to be acceptable, receive help, feel understood —
so their already stressed systems can carry even more load.
Learning to sense
and let go of
fitting in where I can
and where it’s easy enough
has helped me
more than I can say.
Whatever your reason for coming,
your system can begin to settle.
We begin by listening to what’s already happening.
I may notice small places where support could help —
but you decide what feels right.
Your system.
I went through decades of collapse and rebuilding.
Nothing ever helped much,
except finally finding people with whom I really felt heard.
People I could talk with
about things I hadn’t been able to with others,
who simply listened and supported me,
without redirecting or telling me what to do.
That helped me begin to hear my system.
My health is steadier now.
My system has more room,
and more capacity.
Those decades of feeling heard carried into how I listen
to my self
and to you.
