A warm welcome from the West Coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. I'm glad you're here. I'm looking forward to connecting with you and learning how I might support you in re-discovering your true nature of rest, ease and enjoyment. I specialize in working with trauma, the nervous system and the role of trauma and the nervous system in spiritual awakening. The intersection between spiritual awakening and trauma healing is the heart of the work that I do with clients.
I have come to realize that for those of us who have experienced trauma – healing trauma IS the path of our spiritual awakening. Organic Intelligence is a beautiful framework for the journey of returning to self. “When trauma healing and spiritual awakening are seen as one innate impulse in the human being it becomes a much more natural process.” ~ Candace
Read more +I have a Diploma of Counselling Practice from Vancouver College of Counsellor Training along with 26 years experience and continued education and training in the therapeutic field. I am also an OICC - Organic Intelligence Certified Coach.
Because of the gentle and compassionate nature of Candace’s personality her private sessions and programs are safe enough and slow enough for the sensitive physiology of those who have experienced trauma; chronic illness, complex grief or the symptoms of Benzo withdrawal.
Candace has a quality of warmth, tenderness and stability that naturally invites settling and deep rest. The nurturing slowness and ease of her approach communicates, ‘it’s safe here”. She invites the nervous system to rest.
