My graduate-level training and practicum in psychotherapy began in 2014. I received my Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from Arizona State University in 2015 with highest honors and an emphasis on traumatic stress. I was awarded the “Partner in Excellence” in 2017 by the Trauma Healing Services department of La Frontera EMPACT as a recognition of my work as a trauma therapist.

My training and experience enables me to provide a helpful environment for my clients to connect with their deeper wisdom. That environment has these effortless qualities: unconditional acceptance, lack of my own agendas, freedom from a focus on what’s “wrong”, flexibility guided by the moment’s unfolding, and confidence from helping people professionally for over 10 years.

In addition to my masters-level training and OI credentials, I have completed several rigorous, longer-term trainings and certifications including: The 3-year Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner Certificate, “EMDRIA Certification” in EMDR with a specializing in dissociation, advanced studies in Touch Skills as taught by Dr. Kathy Kain, and significant hours of training and consultation in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)™.
