Tanya is a Co-Coordinator for HEARTraining® in Minnesota and is enthusiastic about learning alongside the students of this training. Tanya has been providing services for approximately 10 years in the areas of psychotherapy, assessment, and supervision. She has practiced in various settings, such as shelters, academic settings, community mental health, and private practice clinics. She enjoys working with a wide range of ages from three years and older.
Tanya received her graduate training at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Eagan, Minnesota to obtain her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She has also received certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) through the Association for Play Therapy. Tanya’s areas of specialty are trauma and anxiety.
Tanya is passionate about helping others overcome obstacles to inner peace and mental health. She is committed to helping people through their journey, as “happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling.”
