Rebecca Renfrow (she/her or they/them) comes from the woods in Kentucky (Chickasaw, Cherokee, and Osage territory) and lives now among the green and growing urban nature of the Coast Salish lands in the Pacific Northwest of the US. With a background in circus arts, creative group facilitation, and ongoing aspiration toward collective liberation work, she brings joyful orientation to movement and expansive possibility to her work.
Rebecca is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and is a Mentor in the Organic Intelligence® HEARTraining®. In her Seattle-based practice, Rebecca uses Organic Intelligence and the Somatic Resilience and Regulation model to support artists, activists, educators, professional helpers, and others working to emerge from cycles of suffering.
Rebecca comes to therapeutic work with a healing justice lens. Her hope is to support individuals and communities to build resilience and capacity to shape and sustain movements toward equity, dignity, and wellness for all peoples.
Rebecca cultivates embodied mindfulness in relationship with the brilliance of the natural world. She loves to breathe with trees, watch water move, and is astonished by the apparent patience of moss.
